Katrina Kaif talks ‘Raajneeti 2’

The talented Prakash Jha has recently announced plans for a sequel to the critically acclaimed ‘Raajneeti’ (2010). The actress has been signed for the second instalment revealed more about the upcoming��venture in a recent interview.

“I did hear the idea about sequel from Prakashji, I think it was brilliant. The only thing is that most of the characters from the first film have been killed, so he has to set up whole thing again. The story line, the idea that he told me about Raajneeti 2 is amazing and I hope everything comes on properly,” said Kaif to PTI.

As for the rest of the cast, Arjun Rampal, Ajay Devgn,��Manoj Bajpai and Sarah Thompson’s all died in the first instalment so Kaif admitted that the set-up of ‘Raajneeti 2′ would need to be really fresh. It is thought Ranbir Kapoor would not be repeated in��’Raajneeti 2’ because it would be��difficult��for him to spare the dates.��Kaif spoke about whether the film would be women-centric, “I don’t know as he (Jha) has given me one line brief about it. He has not called me for full script as he is working on two films – Chakravyuh and Satyagrah”.
