The Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s engagement ceremony in Mumbai turned out to be another star-studded affair. While we had some super glamorous sightings at the function it looked like some of the Bollywood beauties decided to have an ethereal white look challenge on the green carpet. BizAsiaLive.com spotted Katrina Kaif, Khushi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and Ananya Panday amongst many others strutting an all-white pristine look.
Katrina was a sight to behold in a minimalist yet super stylish designer Ritika Mirchandani outfit. Interestingly, Alia Bhatt was spotted wearing the same designer’s pastel blue kurta sharara set for another Ambani’s festivity just a few days ago. Now we wonder if it’s a coincidence or then did Alia serve some inspiration for Katrina? Whatever the case, the ‘Phone Bhoot’ (2022) actress certainly scored the highest as far as her fashion serving is concerned.
The ‘Simmba’ (2018) actress opted for an intricate Manish Malhotra ensemble and paired it with a fringe bag in a similar hue. Unfortunately, something about Sara’s look didn’t work especially when compared to the other ladies. The Archies actress, Khushi Kapoor was seen along with sister Janhvi Kapoor in desi avatars. Both the girls looked picture perfect! Khushi’s all-white avatar was great, only we wish that the hairdo could have been anything but the tight ponytail.
Ananya Panday certainly decided to give her all-white look and edgy touch. In fact, the ‘Liger’ (2022) heroine’s look gave us a déjà vu feeling. It reminded us of Deepika Padukone in Ram Leela Bhansali’s ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’ (2013). However, Ananya this look would earn her a perfect score.
Of course, there were others who were dressed in similar shades, Salman Khan walked in with his niece Alizeh Agnihotri who also opted for white. Then we had Gauri Khan in a bejewelled lehenga that came close to the other beauties. With her son Aryan by her side, Gauri was happy to pose for the shutterbugs.
We found some other brighter festive looks at the event too. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone chose an intense black and red looks respectively, while Arjun Kapoor, Salman and Varun Dhawan chose the navy blue traditional look. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was also seen looking stunning in a green and golden Manish Malhotra attire.
