Katrina Kaif not in Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’

Still flying high on the success of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017), there have been talks of whether Katrina Kaif will be collaborating with Salman Khan again for ‘Bharat’.

According to Pinkvilla, this rumour has been dismissed. Reports were suggesting Kaif was replacing Priyanka Chopra, who was only just recently mentioned as being a front runner as the female lead.

Currently Kaif has her hands full with several films in the pipeline, such as Aanand L. Rai’s ‘Zero’ with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma; and then once she has completed shooting for this, she will finish filming for ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’, starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

There is also the untitled dance film, where she will star opposite Varun Dhawan and thereafter Kaif will be occupied with Khan’s Da-Babgg Tour. Surely the ‘Jagga Jasoos’ (2017) star will need a breather?

‘Bharat’ is a periodic film based on the Korean book, ‘Ode To My Father’. The ‘Tubelight’ (2017) actor is set to showcase four-five different looks throughout the film, amounting to 60 years as a common man. The story revolves around the 1947 partition and will also include various landmark events in India’s history.
