Katrina Kaif not opposite Salman Khan in ‘Tubelight’

Recently there has been much speculation that Katrina Kaif would be reuniting with Salman Khan for Kabir Khan’s next ‘Tubelight’. However, it seems the actress will not be seen in the film, if sources are to be believed.

It was being said that Salman was keen on having Kaif in the film as his leading lady as it would give her a solid film to make her mark at the box office with after her last movie ‘Fitoor’ (2016) didn’t fare well. Sources told Mid-Day, “Katrina is not in the film. There will be someone else. We have not locked the actress yet”.

Interestingly, Deepika Padukone’s name was also linked to the project but she has denied ever being offered the film.

Kabir confirmed earlier this week that the shoot for the film will be commencing this month in Ladakh.
