Katrina Kaif in ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’ sequel?

The sequel to the much-loved ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’ (2011) is all set to commence in August. However, the team is still on the lookout for a female lead. BizAsia can reveal that this role could well be given to Katrina Kaif.

A source close to the project confirmed to Times of India, “Negotiations are on. If Katrina doesn’t agree, there are some other names under consideration”. Kaif previously starred with the Deols in ‘Apne’ (2007).

Bobby Deol also revealed that there will be some changes to the original, “Of course, there will be action since Sunny is there. We added more elements to the story”.
