Kartik Aaryan to star in ‘Hera Pheri 3’; Paresh Rawal confirms

Paresh Rawal has confirmed that Kartik Aaryan will be starring in the comedy franchise ‘Hera Pheri’.

In a response to a fan’s message on Twitter asking whether Aaryan had been confirmed for ‘Hera Pheri 3’, Rawal said, “Yes it’s true.”

Rumours about ‘Hera Pheri 3’ have been doing the rounds for several weeks. Akshay Kumar, who has led the ‘Hera Pheri’ franchise up until now, seems to have been replaced with Aaryan. It is said that Kumar was not convinced with the sequel.

Initially, filmmaker Firoz Nadiadwala had confirmed ‘Hera Pheri 3’ with its original cast members – Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal. He had told Bollywood Hungama, “You’ll get to see it very soon with the same star cast – Akshay ji, Paresh bhai and Suniel ji. The story is in place, and we are working on certain modalities. It’ll be made in the same way, retaining the innocence of the characters. We can’t take past achievements for granted. So, we have to be extra careful in terms of our content, story, screenplay, characters, mannerism etc.”

Previously, Aaryan replaced Kumar in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’.
