Kartik Aaryan & Sara Ali Khan confirmed to star in Imtiaz Ali’s next

After weeks of declaring fondness for each other on the current season of ‘Koffee With Karan’, Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan have been confirmed to star together in Imtiaz Ali’s next.

The actress, who has been pining after Aaryan, is expected to begin shooting for Ali’s film in the next few days. A source told Mumbai Mirror, “Kartik, Sara and Randeep Hooda have been doing readings for a while now and the film is ready to go on the floors. Unlike Imtiaz’s previous two films—- Jab Harry Met Sejal and Tamasha, which were set in foreign locales, this one largely unravels in Punjab and Delhi.”

Confirming the news, Aaryan said, “Yes, I am doing Imtiaz Sir next film- he is one of my favourite filmmakers and I have always wanted to work with him. I am glad it’s finally happening.”

It is rumoured the film will be an extension of Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone’s ‘Love Aaj Kal’, which was rumoured to have also starred Saif himself until he denied it.

Aaryan is currently promoting his latest release ‘Luka Chuppi’ out at cinemas today.
