Karisma Kapoor turns radio DJ

Not so long ago Shah Rukh Khan was heard taking over the airwaves on the radio with the BBC Asian Network. News has it that actress Karisma Kapoor is soon to be following Khan’s footsteps in hosting a show on an Indian radio station. However, unlike Khan who did just one show,��Kapoor is to become a regular presenter.

“This is a totally new avenue, something I have never done. I am lucky enough I had a career for a long period of time. Like I said, I have done films, television, I also have a portal, so why not radio! It’s something new and different for me to do,” Times of India��reported Kapoor stating during the launch of her show.

Kapoor’s show will be about fashion, where she will be talking about latest trends and personal trends. The actress adds, “It’s not about standing out, it’s like I wanted to do something new. I have got opportunities to do something on different platforms, why not radio. I think over the years people have appreciated my style. So here I am getting an entire show based on style and where I can help women across India.”

However all is not lost with the actress and the film industry. She will soon ��be starting to shoot for her upcoming remake of ‘Satte Pe Satta’ (1982)
