Kareena was offered Aanand L Rai’s next with SRK?

With work underway for Aanand L Rai’s next, its been revealed that Kareena Kapoor Khan was being considered as one of the female characters in the film. We know now that Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif have been roped in opposite Shah Rukh Khan but Kareena was also in the contention for the role.

A source told DNA India, “The filmmaker offered the role to Kareena, but her dates were clashing with Veerey Di Wedding. Also, she did not want to start shooting immediately post motherhood as she wanted to lose all the weight that she had gained. That’s how Rai approached Anushka for the role and she was on board.”

Kareena begins work on ‘Veerey Di Wedding’ in August.
