Kareena Kapoor puts Ganesh Acharya under pressure

Choreographer Ganesh Acharya received a lot of praise for his ‘Chikni Chameli’ number performed by Katrina Kaif, which added to the ‘Agneepath’ (2012) hype. Now Acharya��will wow the audiences with��Kareena Kapoor’s item number in ‘Heroine’.

The song titled Halkat Jawani apparently had Kapoor and director Madhur Bhandarkar tell the acclaimed choreographer that this song had to better than his own Kaif number. Times of India��reported Acharya stating, “It’s not just Madhur Bhandarkar and Kareena Kapoor who want the song to outdo��Chikni��Chameli but also a lot of people from the industry are expecting the same.”

This all adds to the competition between the two Bollywood divas, and as the news reports have suggested, Acharya seems extremely pleased with his work��on this song. When reporters asked him if this was one of the songs we could see Kapoor shake her hips to on stage, he replied, “Yeh, toh pakka��award function��wala gaana hai. Kareena has done justice to the song, the dance sequence and the expressions.��Yeh, Kareena ki��life��ka��best��gaana hai.”

Although Kapoor is very well known for many of her dance numbers, trying to match up with the huge success of Chikni Chameli does put her under a lot of pressure. Will she be able to throw Kaif off of the item song��top spot, or is Acharya way to confident for his own good?
