Kareena Kapoor Khan to star in Karan Johar’s next?

17 years after ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ (2001), Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karan Johar may be finally coming together again.

Rumours suggest that Khan has been confirmed as the female lead in Johar’s upcoming directorial venture. Not much else is known about the project, but according to Deccan Chronicle, the male lead may be Akshay Kumar. Official announcements are yet to be made.

Khan was previously cast in Johar’s ‘Shuddhi’, but after several delays the film has now been postponed indefinitely.  Johar is currently busy with the production of ‘Kalank’ and ‘Student of the Year 2’.
