Kareena Kapoor Khan: “Ranveer is just a phenomenal actor”

Kareena Kapoor Khan was due to share the screen with Ranveer Singh in 2013’s ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela’. Although this didn’t work out at the time, the duo are due to come together in the forthcoming ‘Takht’, to be directed by Karan Johar.

“It is great that finally after so many years I will be sharing screen space with him. It was long due collaboration. He is just a phenomenal actor. It will be an honour to share screen space with him. I am very happy,” said the actress, as quoted by PTI.

Talking about working with Johar again, Kapoor Khan commented, “He is one of my closest friends. He is actually like my brother. He is somebody I trust and love immensely. For me it’s like being at home whenever I work with Karan and Dharma. It going to be a blast for sure”.

‘Takht’ will bring together a whole host of actors alongside Kapoor Khan and Singh – including Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
