Kareena Kapoor Khan passes on Omung Kumar’s next

Kareena Kapoor Khan might have just come back to Mumbai from her Swiss vacation, but the star has remained in the news despite not being in the country.

From sportswear brands vying to snap a commercial deal with her to her upcoming films, Khan has made headlines day in and day out. Reports were that after ‘Veere Di Wedding,’ the star would take up Omung Kumar’s next feature, which is to a biopic, reports Bollywood Life. The two had even discussed the script and spoke at length about how the director wants to go about the film. However, looks like Khan has rejected the film after brainstorming about it.

A source even revealed, “Kareena had issues with the script and she told Omung very politely that she won’t be doing the biopic. She has been reading a lot of scripts but hasn’t green lighted anything after Veere Di Wedding.”

Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, Kangna Ranaut and several others could be potential suitors in Khan’s place.

In the meantime, Khan will continue working on Rhea Kapoor’s ‘Veere Di Wedding,’ which also stars Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar. The movie is a fun-filled, light hearted movie slated to begin production at the end of this month or first week of September. It will be released mid-next year.
