Kareena Kapoor Khan on why she dropped ‘no kissing’ rule

Ki and Ka poster - 340x

As reported by BizAsia recently, Kareena Kapoor Khan claimed that she never had a ‘no kissing policy’. However, the actress has now admitted that when she and Saif Ali Khan first got married, they had decided against onscreen kissing but latergrew out of that possessiveness.

Speaking to DNA India, Kapoor Khan said, “When we make certain statements we may mean something but a few years later down the line, as we grow older, wiser and more mature, our mindset, views and outlook to life changes too. So, if we said something then, we believed in it, today that has changed. When Saif and I got married there was a slight possessiveness and we decided let۪s not do some things on screen now that we are married and yes, kissing was one of them. That happens, I think, with most newly married couple.”

Kapoor Khan is seen locking lips with costar Arjun Kapoor in posters and promos of R Balki’s ‘Ki and Ka’, which is what raised eyebrows considering her earlier statements.

‘Ki and Ka’ releases on 1st April.
