Kareena Kapoor Khan that the sale of RK Studios to realty firm Godrej Properties does not hurt her family’s legacy in Bollywood.

Kapoor Khan recently spoke on the news, expressing that, “The legacy of RK has already been taken ahead with girls like Karisma (Kapoor) and I. Now we have Ranbir (Kapoor). Through our work and performances, the legacy is being taken ahead. Hopefully, our kids will also take it ahead.”, PTI reported.

RK Studios is still an important piece of history for the Indian film industry, which is why the Indian Film and Television Director’s Association (IFTDA) has requested the new owners to establish a Raj Kapoor Museum onsite. RK Studios has been around since 1948, but hasn’t produced a film in 20 years, since ‘Aa Ab Laut Chalen’ (1999).
