Kareena Kapoor Khan on the importance of box office success

Kareena Kapoor Khan has been a part of some of the most successful movies at the box office. When asked how she signs a film, she’s recently revealed that she does think about the potential of that project at the box office.

“Box office potential decides a lot for me. I always want to act in entertaining films. The story can be emotionally-charged or message-driven or purpose-oriented but it has to be entertaining. I want the audience to get hooked on it from the first frame. I’m not interested in doing docu-dramas. If I was, I would have done it by now. I always try to balance entertainment with all the other elements that go into films today. It’s very important for me”, said the actress, talking to Bombay Times.

Khan was last seen in ‘Angrezi Medium’ which released in March and that was Irrfan Khan’s last film before he sadly passed away.
