Kareena Kapoor Khan not hopeful for ‘Udta Punjab’ to hit 100 crores

Abhishek Chaubey directed ‘Udta Punjab’ will see Kareena Kapoor Khan play a doctor. However, although the actress is excited about the film, she has said it will not join the 100 crore club.

“��Udta Punjab�۪ is a brilliant film. I loved the story. It�۪s one of those films where you don�۪t have to do too much to get your emotions out. When Abhishek was narrating the film to me, I didn�۪t know whether I wanted to cry or do something else. The first thought was I want to do the film at any cost,” said Kapoor Khan, according to Bollywood Life.

She added, “There are some films which won�۪t do 150 crores, but will be remembered for its story. ��Udta Punjab�۪ is one such film. People will talk about the content more than the box office figures”.

Kapoor Khan will be seen next in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ opposite Salman Khan.
