Kareena Kapoor Khan favourite to play Amrita Pritam?

Kareena Kapoor Khan is readying herself for the release of her forthcoming movie ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’. However, it seems in the project where she will be romanced by Farhan Akhtar, she may well be playing Amrita Pritam, wife of Urdu poet Sahir Ludhianvi.

However, in an interesting revelation, Kapoor Khan has yet to sign on the dotted line but the makers are hopeful. A source told Hindustan Times, “The biopic revolves around the relationship between Ludhianvi and Pritam. The makers are looking forward to having Kareena on board for Pritam�۪s role”.

It is thought that Kapoor Khan is currently preoccupied with various other ventures and she is taking time to go over the script. “She is reading the script whenever she gets a breather in her schedule. She was off to Beirut, Lebanon, to shoot for her cameo in Kabir Khan�۪s next with Saif Ali Khan��and Katrina Kaif. Meanwhile, Kareena is yet to finish Punit Malhotra�۪s Gori Tere Pyaar Mein with Imran Khan,” the source continued.

Ashi Dua will be producing the project and Akhtar’s fans will be in for a treat as it has been said that he will be singing lines from Ludhianvi’s famous poems.
