Kareena Kapoor Khan believes actors are no longer respected

Over the past decade, much has changed in Bollywood. From the way films are promoted to the entry of PR teams and social media in the lives of celebrities.��Kareena Kapoor Khan, an actress who has witnessed the transition for actors in Bollywood, believes that over time the respect for actors has diminished.

Speaking to IANS, the actress said, “Earlier, there was respect for the actor but now I don’t see such respect among people…��Earlier, people used to get desperate to get one glimpse of their favourite actors, but now celebrities themselves put their bathroom pictures and too many weird pictures on social media.”

Kapoor Khan herself has avoided joining any social networking sites and often gives interviews only when it is time to promote her films.

On the film front, the actress’ latest release is R Balki’s ‘Ki and Ka’ opposite Arjun Kapoor, after which she will be seen in Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’.
