Kareena Kapoor Khan agreed ‘Shuddhi’ only for Hrithik Roshan

Kareena Kapoor Khan has admitted she only agreed to do Karan Johar’s ambitious project ‘Shuddhi’ for Hrithik Roshan.

In an interview with One India, Khan said, “Shuddhi which had Hrithik Roshan in the lead role was interesting to do but after he opted out of it and Salman Khan was finalised, i don’t feel like doing it any more. I said yes because of Hrithik.”

Roshan was the first to opt out of the project due to personal reasons, resulting in Khan walking out of the film. Only a few days ago, Johar confirmed that Salman Khan had been roped in to take the lead role. An actress is yet to be confirmed opposite him.
