Despite having a very minimal amount of promos,Reema Kagti’s ‘Talaash’ (2012) was still as hyped up as any other big branded film would be. The premiere event held in Mumbai was one out of the very few events linked to the film, and news has it actress Kareena Kapoor had to opt out of the event due to illness.
Apparently, with the actress being on high demand, her commitments seemed to have been getting the best of her, and when the time came for the event, Kapoor had no other choice but to rest instead. Hindustan Times report a source explaining, “She had gone to Delhi for the promotions of ‘Talaash’ and after two hectic days, she returned with the cast on Thursday morning.”
The source added, “She had high fever and a throat infection even then, so she rested for a few hours. But as she had committed to a channel for her appearance on a reality show to launch her item song Fevicol se۪ from ‘Dabangg 2’, she had to leave for Lonavala that same evening.” This led to the actress becoming more ill, resulting in her absence at the premiere.
Also starring Aamir Khan and Rani Mukerji, ‘Talaash’ released only this weekend, and has already been receiving great reviews.
