Kareena: “I respect South films but I don’t understand the language”

After becoming a mother for the first time, Kareena Kapoor Khan is going straight back to work as she prepares for her next titled ‘Veerey Di Wedding’. It’s fair to say there hasn’t been much the actress hasn’t done in the Indian film industry. However no matter how far she wants to stretch herself with Bollywood, it seems she’s not looking to venture out in any other film fraternity just yet.

Talking the media, Khan was asked if she would act in South Indian films like many of her peers do. “I respect South films. They have some great actors from Pawan Kalyan to Rajinikanth. Great actors and content. But I don’t understand the language. So there’s no connectivity that I feel and wouldn’t be able to work,” Bollywood Life reports the actress expressing.

She went on to add, “But luckily I’ve worked with one of the best directors, Mani Ratnam ‘Yuva’ (2004).”

It seems Khan is sticking to what she knows, and rather rightly it’s doing her wonders.
