Kareena hints at Saif playing negative role in ‘Rangoon’

This weekend’s much awaited movie ‘Rangoon’ has been in the headlines for its snazzy cast, with Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Kangna Ranaut coming together for the first time.

The film, which has been rumoured to be a love triangle, has recently seen Khan’s character showing a negative shade. Giving details about this, wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan hinted that Saif is indeed playing the antagonist in the film.

She was cited in Deccan Chronicle saying, “In Vishal Bhardwaj’s films, the negative character is very striking most of the times. Besides, there are three stellar actors in the film, Shahid, Kangana and Saif. I like the competition, there should be competition between all three only then they’ll give their best.”

She added, “His (Saif’s) character in the film is going to be very striking because for the first time he will be seen in a role like this. We are very excited.”

‘Rangoon’ is out this weekend.
