Television heartthrob, Karan Tacker has put rest to rumours of a ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ reboot in an interview with Raj Baddhan.
The popular star, who shot to fame with the Star Plus fiction, is currently promoting his latest digital reality show ‘The Remix’ on Amazon Prime Video. In the interview, Baddhan had asked about rumours circulating about a sequel to ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ after it was revealed that ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ was being revived by the channel.
Tacker told Baddhan on Sabras Radio’s ‘Drivetime’ show, “Unfortunately the producers of ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ are not very keen on doing a sequel. I have to let down all the fans of EHMMBH by saying that sorry guys and as much as I love this show, along with the rest of the cast, we’re not going to go back on-air with that show anytime soon.”
Asked if the show was offered to him, would he accept the sequel. He added, “Of course, why not. It was so good, it was such a nice show. Its like what I said, when I took on EHMMBH – It was a very modern show that Star Plus was making at that time. It was a show very ahead of its time so the kind of content I’ve always done has been very distinctive. So if they come up with a concept and its ahead of its time or innovative in anyway, I would totally jump on it.”
