Karan Patel not being replaced in Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’

Social media has recently erupted with news that Karan Patel, who plays Raman in ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, will be substituted for Chaitanya Choudhry in the popular series. The rumours arose due to Karan Patel’s absence from the show, who is preparing for the Bulgaria shoot of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 10’.

SpotboyE has quickly extinguished these rumours, though, finding that Patel will still remain a part of the show because Patel is just taking a break whilst he focuses on ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 10’, especially because producer Ekta Kapoor has given her blessings for Patel to undertake this new project.

Patel’s publicist confirmed with SpotboyE, “He hasn’t quit the show. Karan has been shooting for it but not as regular as he was because a few other commitments are keeping him busy.”

The publicist also touched on the replacement of Patel, commenting, “We are not aware about any such development as we haven’t got any intimation from the production house as yet.”
