Karan Malhotra confirms ‘Shhuddhi’ not shelved

As the business of cinema can sometimes be fickle, there was much speculation as to what filmmaker Karan Malhotra is doing with his plans for ‘Shhuddhi’. Having been rumoured to be shelved, the director has now gone on record stating that the film is still; very much on.

Taking to Twitter, Malhotra responded to a tweet asking about the film, where he expressed, “SHHUDDHI will happen!!! At the right time, with the right people and the right environment! I believe in the synchronicity of the Universe!!”

When the film was first announced, there were whispers that Malhotra would rope in Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan for the lead roles. However this along with any other information in regards to the progress of the project has yet to be revealed.
