Karan Johar’s ‘What The Love’ unlikely to have a second season

Karan Johar who launched his new dating series ‘What The Love’ on Netflix at the end of January, is unlikely to be commissioned for a second season.

Reported by The Asian Age, through the aid of Johar’s glam squad and mentoring by the director, ‘What The Love’ sets out to help six singletons to find love. Johar also invited special star guests such as Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Leone and Huma Qureshi, to also provide some dating advice. Unfortunately the show hasn’t quite taken off as Johar would have liked, a source said, “It is unlikely to have a second season.”

In terms of successful projects in the past two years, ‘Good Newwz’ (2019) has been the only movie to give the filmmaker a hit. His next production ‘Sooryavanshi’, directed by Rohit Shetty will be releasing on the 27th March; thereafter his most extravagant film in the making, ‘Takht’ releases in 2021.
