Karan Johar’s ‘Poo Diaries’ on the backburner?

KAran Johar was supposed to produce a spin-off of Kareena Kapoor Khan’s character from ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ (2001) for a digital platform. However, it seem the idea is currently on the backburner.

“Kareena’s character has to be done the right way in the spin-off, and Karan is in no hurry to start it unless convinced by the final script. The script went through a few changes and Karan is yet to approve it. The show won’t start until that is done, so it will take some time,” said a source, according to Asian Age.

It’s thought that it’s undecided as yet whether Kapoor Khan herself will be involved. The show is meant to see Poo’s character in her 30s.

Dharma Productions will have Kiara Advani starrer ‘Guilty’ as their first foot into the digital arena.
