Karan Johar’s next to be dedicated to Yash & Roohi

Karan Johar became father to twins Yash and Roohi and he’s recently shared a picture of them on his social media. He’s also now said that is next film will be dedicated to them.

“My cinema has always been an extension of my state of mind… Whether it was My Name Is Khan or Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, it has always been resonant with my state of mind. It’s not that I will make parental film but there would be layers in my next film that would actually explicitly portray my humongous level of excitement for having Yash and Roohi,” said Johar, according to Indian Express. The filmmaker was talking at the Indian film Festival of Melbourne 2017.

Johar has had wide gaps between his films and, in hindsight, he feels this shouldn’t have been the case. He said, “Last year, I promised myself to lessen the gap but I’m still crackling with the idea of what to make because it’s the same fear of failure, overestimation about the self that keeps popping up, which I have to fight out”.
