Karan Johar to sit down with Dhyan Chand’s son for biopic talks

Karan Johar had announced his plans of making a biopic on the late hockey legend, Dhyan Chand. There had been no news since the announcement in October of last year, but��now the latest to be heard is that Johar will be sitting down with Chand’s son, Ashok Kumar, to discuss the biopic.

As according to the Deccan Chronicle, Johar had approached Kumar with the idea of the bio-pic about three years ago. Kumar will supposedly meet Johar to discuss the project on his father’s birthday, 29th August,�� which also celebrates ‘National Sports Day’ as well.

The biopic is still in its initial scripting stages, and the cast will be decided once it is completed. Meanwhile, Johar is also working on his next project, ‘Kapoor and Sons’, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, and Fawad Khan.
