Karan Johar to romance Anushka Sharma onscreen

Karan Johar has donned many hats over the years.�� From director and producer to chat show host and reality show judge, he has succeeded in every role he has taken on.�� The popular filmmaker will soon be making his acting debut with Anurag Kashyap�۪s ��Bombay Velvet�۪, where he will be seen romancing Anushka Sharma.

A source revealed information about Johar�۪s character in the film, to Absolute India, saying, ���While it is known that he plays the character of a Parsi businessman called Kaizad Khambatta, the interesting fact is that he is romantically involved with Anushka, who plays a jazz singer in the film.�� Karan�۪s flamboyant character is going to be very compelling just like his look in the film.�� He will be seen in a Parsi look with a typical thin moustache.�� Not only that, his character has grey shades too.�� There�۪s a twist with a romantic triangle in the film.�۝

While Johar has acting experience having acted as a child artiste on television, he also played small cameo roles in films such as ��Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge�۪ (1995) and ��Luck By Chance�۪ (2009).�� However, ��Bombay Velvet�۪ is the first film to see him in a full-fledged role.

Other than Johar and Anushka Sharma, ��Bombay Velvet�۪ also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Raveena Tandon.�� The film is slated to release on 28th November.
