Karan Johar to direct ‘Vettai’ remake

Karan Johar is set to direct the Hindi remake of South Indian film ‘Vettai’.

Johar is said to be impressed with the performances of Arya, R Madhavan and Sameera Reddy in the original film.

Johar confirmed the news to Bollywood Hungama. The film will be produced by UTV. Details of the star cast for the Hindi version are yet to be announced but Abhishek Bachchan and Shahid Kapoor have previously been linked to the project.
