Karan Johar & Shakun Batra team up again for family film

As a filmmaker Karan Johar�� has recently been making films more targeted towards a younger audience. Going back to where he started however, Johar has now announced he will soon be making a family film again.

Having Shakun Batra who directed ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ (2013), get behind the camera lens for this one, Johar seems to have a lot to scream about. Taking to social media site Twitter, the film maker expressed, “Rarely does a filmmaker write a super script in 2 months…@shakunbatra’s new family film just got greenlit and cast! Details coming up…”

Recently known for bringing fresh on screen pairs together, there was much debate as to who he’d sign next, where actors Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan were being included in the list of candidates, as reported on BizAsia.

However wanting to anticipate the suspense, both filmmakers gave nothing away. Batra went onto add, “super excited! but let’s go easy on the speculations..it’s not the story everyone’s talking about! Will share more info soon..”

Looks like audiences are just going to have to wait for this yet untitled project.
