Karan Johar set for romantic-comedy with elements of supernatural in next ‘Kukku Ki Kundali’

Dharma Productions is venturing into new territory with ‘Kukku Ki Kundali’, a romantic comedy that promises to surprise audiences with an unusual supernatural element. Produced by Karan Johar, the film introduces a ghost character whom the protagonist Kukku must marry in order to resolve his kundali dosh, adding a distinctive twist to the narrative.

The project stars Bhuvan Bam, making his big-screen debut, alongside Wamiqa Gabbi, who has been winning acclaim for her recent performances. The film is directed by Sharan Sharma, known for ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ and the sports drama ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’.

With its blend of humour, romance, and the paranormal, ‘Kukku Ki Kundali’ is shaping up to be one of the more unconventional offerings from Dharma Productions, expanding the studio’s repertoire into supernatural comedy.
