Karan Johar not receiving acting offers post ‘Bombay Velvet’

Karan Johar is known to don many hats in the industry. ��Recently, the filmmaker debuted as an actor with a full-fledged role in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velevet’ (2015). ��However, Johar confesses that he has not been approached with any other acting offers post the release of his debut.

Speaking to��PTI, Johar said,��”Nobody has offered me any role till now. I think nobody has liked me. Why should I be blaming Anurag Kashyap… I should at least get offers to refuse them. I can’t cast myself in my own films…I am not that stupid.”

Unfortunately, ‘Bombay Velvet’, which also starred Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, failed to live up to expectations and did not do the Box Office business that was predicted from it.

Johar is currently busy with his film productions, as well as location hunting for ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, his next directorial starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
