Filmmaker Karan Johar comes across as a confident, mischievous and all-round creative person. However, as he is set to make his acting debut as the antagonist in Anurag Kashyap۪s Bombay Velvet۪, he seems to have become a bag of nerves somewhat.
Johar recently stated in an interview with Hindustan Times, I haven’t watched the film, and I don’t want to see it. I get very nervous. I’m comfortable being myself in front of the camera, but this film was something new for me. It gave me a chance to play a negative role, and that’s why I took it up. I’m scared and nervous about seeing it because I don’t know whether I have done a good job or not.
Talking about his forthcoming biopic on Dhyan Chand, Johar clarified, The film has a fabulous screenplay. But as of now, we haven’t approached any actor.
Bombay Velvet۪ stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in lead roles.
