Karan Johar launches digital content division, Dharmatic Entertainment
Karan Johar has launched a digital content division, Dharmatic Entertainment, under his existing Dharma Productions brand.
The new company will reportedly create content for digital platforms. In a tweet, Johar said, “Our new journey begins! DHARMATIC! The digital content company. This is our new baby.”

Somen Mishra, the head of creative development at Dharma Productions, will handle the fiction division and former journalist Aneesha Baig, will be in charge of non-fiction. Overall, the venture will be spearheaded by Johar and Apoorva Mehta.
