Karan Johar in favour of kissing scenes

Karan Johar, who is co-producer of ��2 States�۪, has gone on record and said he is all for kissing scenes in films in order to lure the audiences. He spoke at the launch of the first trailer of ��2 States�۪ whichi sees lead actors Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in a lip-lock.

According to India Today, Johar said, ���I like watching kissing scenes on screen. I enjoy it. The new generation of actors don’t shy away from it. Kissing brings good openings (at the box office) and it is a wonderful thing�۝.

��2 States�۪ apparently has three kissing scenes in the film and rumour mills have suggested that Bhatt and Kapoor have been very friendly on the sets during the shooting of the film. The film sees Amrita Singh and Revathi back on the screens as the respective mothers of the lead couple.
