Karan Johar facing legal trouble for ‘India’s Next Superstars’?

Karan Johar has attracted some legal trouble, potentially facing 5 years in jail. The Delhi government has sent a legal notice to his production company Dharma.

The Health Department of Delhi has issued the notice due to a Kamala Pasand Pan Masala advertisement that aired during Johar’s Star Plus show ‘India’s Next Superstars’, Aaj Tak reported. The reality show is co-produced by Dharma Productions and Endemol Shine India, who both, along with Star TV, have 10 days to respond to the notice. Failure to respond will result in the filing of a legal case.

Dharma Productions has previously faced a similar notice after a poster of ‘Ittefaq’ (2017) depicting Akshaye Khanna smoking was released.
