Karan Johar enhances Vicky Kaushal’s role in ‘Takht’?

He’s become a huge favourite with audiences very quickly, and it seems, with a whole host of projects lined up, he’s also in high demand amongst filmmakers. So it comes to no surprise that Karan Johar has enhanced Vicky Kahsual’s role in their forthcoming ‘Takht’ to match that of Ranveer Singh’s.

According to Mumbai Mirror, seeing how successful Kaushal has become, Johar has decided that his role as Aurangazeb in the Moghul base project needs to be much meatier and on par to the character of Dara Shikoh, his elder brother, which will be played by Singh.

Apparently, instead of adding more parts for Kaushal, Johar has gone to lengths of re-writing his whole character. With the film being a multi-starrer, it seems Johar is keen on his investment with Kaushal for this project.

Also starring Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor, ‘Takht’ is set to go on floors in August.
