Karan Johar & Divya Khosla in alleged online spat over ‘Jigra’

Divya Khosla Kumar and Karan Johar have recently engaged in a public spat over the box office performance of the latest film ‘Jigra’, starring Alia Bhatt.

Divya Khosla Kumar initiated the controversy by accusing Bhatt of exaggerating the opening numbers of ‘Jigra’. On social media, she remarked, “Went to Citi Mall PVR for ‘Jigra’ show. Theatre was totally empty… all cinemas are empty everywhere. #Aliabhatt certainly has a lot of #Jigra… bought tickets herself and announced inflated collections. Why is the paid media silent? #truthoverlies #HappyDussehra.”

Karan Johar, who has been a mentor to Alia Bhatt throughout her career, responded subtly, without directly naming Divya. He posted a cryptic message on Instagram, stating, “Silence is the best speech you will ever give to fools,” seemingly addressing the accusations.

In response, Khosla Kumar issued another bold statement, declaring, “Truth will always offend fools opposed to it,” followed by a second post: “When you are so accustomed to stealing what rightfully belongs to others, you will always seek shelter in silence. You will have no voice, no spine.” Her pointed words left no doubt that she was criticising the Johar-Bhatt camp and standing firm on her claims.
