Confirmed: Karan Johar’s next ‘TAKHT’ featuring Ranveer, Kareena, Alia & Janhvi

In quite a sensational announcement, Karan Johar has gone on to confirm his next directorial ‘TAKHT’, which will feature a number of A-listers.

In his first directorial since ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, ‘TAKHT’ will star Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor.

The film has been described a historical on the Mughal dynasty and based on two brothers – Singh and Kaushal will be seen playing the two brothers. Singh will play the role of Dara Shukoh, Bhatt will play his love interest and Kareena will be seen as Jahanara Begum’s role in the film.

‘TAKHT’ will release in 2020.
