Karan Johar confirms Kartik Aaryan & Janhvi Kapoor for ‘Dostana 2’

After years of rumours about the sequel to the 2008 romantic-comedy, ‘Dostana’, Karan Johar has finally confirmed official details.

Karan Johar has taken to social media to announce Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor for ‘Dostana 2’. As revealed on BizAsiaLive.com on Wednesday Collin D’Cunha will replace Tarun Mansukhani, who directed the original.

A second male lead is also set to be added to the mix. Earlier rumours suggested that Rajkummar Rao would be taking up that role but it doesn’t seem now he will be a part of the sequel.

The original film starred Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra.
