Karan Johar brings Varun-Alia together again

Many will be happy to learn that filmmaker Karan Johar has signed his proteges Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt for his forthcoming film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’.

Johar has been very active of late to promote new talent and this upcoming venture will be no different with Shashank Khaitan making a debut as director. No doubt the anticipation of seeing Dhawan and Alia together again will excite fans of last year’s ‘Student of the Year’ in which the two made their debut alongside Sidharth Malhotra.

The film is slated for release on 27th June 2014.
