Karan Johar announces Ayan Mukerji’s next ‘Brahmastra’

News about a Dharma Productions’ produced film directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has been doing the rounds for some time. Karan Johar has now announced it officially as ‘Brahmastra’.

Johar has also confirmed that Amitabh Bachchan will be leading the cast of the film which Dharma are producing in collaboration with Fox Star Studios and Namit Malhotra.

The filmmaker has also confirmed that the project is a trilogy.

The film’s confirmed release date is 15th August 2019.
