Kapil Sharma’s new show to be on Netflix?

While it’s been said plenty of times that ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has struggled with ratings since the departure of Ali Asgar and Sunil Grover, it seems host Kapil Sharma is now eyeing a show on Netflix.

A source informed Bollywood Life, “Kapil has been having meetings with Netflix India. He is very keen to do a stand-up comedy show with the digital channel. He strongly feels that digital is the future of entertainment in India. In fact, he has been having meetings with Amazon and Hotstar as well. It ultimately boils down on the moolah he will get from a particular channel. Kapil appreciates the medium because of the audience it caters to and lack of restrictions”.

Sharma seems to be wanting to embrace the new digital arena of entertainment and it would definitely be welcome for the audiences to be able to engaged in his comedy in this new way.
