Kapil Sharma upsets AR Rahman?

AR Rahman is not often seen making many television��appearances, however, he did recently shoot for an episode of Kapil Sharma’s comedy show. Rahman is allegedly upset with how things went and may now have sworn off television appearances for the near future.

A friend of Rahman’s told DNA India, “You can fool around with the Great Grand Masti team. But you can�۪t apply the same humour to Rahman. As a host, Kapil Sharma had not even done his basic homework. He said Rangeela was the maestro�۪s first composition and that he had scored music in all of Ashutosh Gowariker�۪s films. Both are misrepresentations of facts. It was insulting to see Ali do his drag act on Rahman. It is doubtful we�۪ll get to see him on another television show in the near future.”

Comedian Ali Asgar confirmed that Rahman was uncomfortable with being touched during the shoot, and that there was “a difference between Rahman and other guests”. However, he did not confirm whether Rahman left the sets on good terms with the team.
