Kapil Sharma rejects YRF script?

Comedian Kapil Sharma is set to make his big screen debut and that too with the Yash Raj Films banner. However, BizAsia has learnt that the actor himself has placed his first Bollywood project on hold temporarily.

Sharma, who is at the peak of his TV career with the show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’, is supposedly being overly cautious about his film debut and has therefore decided to re-write the script himself. It turns out, according to Business of Cinema, that the entertainer was dissatisfied with the script and rejected it. He has now taken it upon himself to re-write portions until he can improve it.

Sharma’s debut is no doubt one that much of the industry and fans are excited about and it seems he is not ready to disappoint even with his first attempt.
