Kapil Sharma on celebrating Diwali with wife-to-be Ginni Chathra

Kapil Sharma who has been on break to concentrate on getting his health back on track, is soon to return to the TV screens with an all new ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. But before then he is looking forward to celebrating Diwali with his fiance Ginni Chathra.

Reported on Pinkvilla, Sharma shared that this year is Diwali will be even more special, as he and Chathra will be celebrating it together with their families. “Like everyone else, I like being with my family on festivals. This Diwali, is special as Ginni will be part of the celebrations back home in Amritsar. I cannot wait to hog on the delicious food and sweets that my mother prepares,” says Sharma.

The couple officially announced their relationship last year in March, and are now preparing for their wedding which is due to take place on the 12th December. Sharma confirmed in a news interview that they will tie the knot in Jalandhar, Punjab.

It has been said Sharma will kick off shooting for the second season on the 16th December. There has been a bit of speculation that Salman Khan has come on board to help with the show as Sharma’s production house is reportedly in debt.
