Kannada TV actors Rachana & Jeevan pass away in car crash

Two stars from the Kannada television fraternity have passed away in a car crash on Thursday night.

Rachana and Jeevan, who were on the way to the temple, hit a truck, which was parked up near Magadi, according to Hindustan Times. Rachana has worked in shows like ‘Madhubala’, ‘Mahanadi’ and ‘Triveni Sangama’.

The report adds that Jeevan was driving the car, while Rachana and their friends were on the way to Kukke Subramanya temple to celebrate the birth of Karthik, who also stars in ‘Mahandi’.

The news comes just days after two actors – Gagan Kang and Arijit Lavania – from ‘Mahakali’ on Colors died in a car accident.
